Research Interests

Murray's primary interest is the chemical and physical evolution of magmatic-hydrothermal ore deposits. His approach to quantifying solute partitioning and transport in such systems is the microanalysis of fluid and melt inclusions, using techniques such as laser ablation ICP-MS. Murray will be applying these techniques to recently discovered gold deposits in the Dawson Range of the Yukon (read more).
